LUNATIONS

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE occurs on February 9, 2009 at 09:49:10 AM EST
This Full Moon during the time of the Lunar Eclipse is posited in the Fifth House occupying the sign of Leo. There is a distinctly Leonine energy associated with this position of the Moon as it opposes the Sun, the ruler of Leo, in Aquarius. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, which often demonstrates as a higher octave of Mercury. We see Higher Mind gaining visibility as the emotional and heartfelt energy of the Leo Moon is occluded. The Aquarian Sun is kissing Chiron and Neptune in the Eleventh House of the Lunation chart on the Eastern seaboard. Humanitarian efforts to heal the less than fortunate with noble thoughts and inner vision will gain conviction and momentum.

NEW MOON occurs on February 24, 2009 at 08:35:05 PM EST
This New Moon finds the Sun and Moon kissing in Pisces in the fifth House of the Lunation chart on the Eastern Seaboard. Inconjuncts to the South Node in Leo and Libra rising in this chart reveal a desire for compassion in the masses. It will seem at this time that it is not enough to find a solution or to take away the pain - but it is important to also acknowledge the suffering and loss. The wounds may heal but the scars will still be evident. The zenith of expression for the conjunction of the Lights in Pisces is random acts of kindness, prayers emerging from the depths of your soul as well as forgiveness of past injustice. Seek kindred souls now. The parallel alignments in this Lunation chart are phenomenal!

PLANETARY ALERTS

Mercury Stations Direct - Mercury retrograded in Aquarius on January 11th at 01:03 PM and stations direct on February 1st at 02:12 AM! Our desire for change and more liberal thinking was drawn back toward convention in this cycle. Not all new ideas are good ideas! As with all Mercury retrogrades, it was not a good time to enter into partnerships or contracts as misunderstanding and lack of clarity is notorious in documentation when this planet appears to be moving backwards in the Heavens! DO know that Mercury is still considered to be "in its shadow" until February 21st. Make progress but make thorough evaluation!

Saturn Retrograde Alert - Saturn stationed retrograde the lastevening of 2008 at 06:09 PM and will remain so until May 17th, 2009 at 02:08 AM! Reworking plans and modifying existing structures will prove to be quite an ambitious task in this cycle. Progress can only be made once the foundation to build upon is firmly in place. Renovations, re-assignments of persons to new tasks and renewals of licenses can go well now that the Mercury retrograde (See above!) is past. Returning to complete a course of study or to achieve specialization in an existing career is also well featured. Get organized! Then reorganize!

ARIES MAR 20 - APR 20
Upon the Lunar Eclipse, your ruler, Mars, is in Aquarius moving toward a wonderful conjunction to both Jupiter and the Dragon*s Head! Anger and impatience regarding the state of the World and the powers that be is seen. There is an innate understanding that this is the way it is in this World. At New Moon, change seems more imminent and there is a desire to move forward more quickly to have a voice in the matter. GEMINI MAY 21 - JUN 21

On the Lunar Eclipse, your ruler, Mercury, is now direct in Capricorn although still in its shadow. This will prove to be a very insightful Lunar Eclipse for you, dear Cancer! This Full Moon is in Leo and will disappear from view as it opposes the Sun, Chiron and Neptune. Others will see potential in you that you cannot see within yourself. Allow their guidance to encourage you. At New Moon, your ruler, the Moon, will be kissing the Sun in Pisces. The Lights form a kind sextile to Pluto in Capricorn showing the potential to manifest your dreams. This will not be a highly motivated cycle for you, however. SCORPIO OCT 23 - NOV 21
One of your rulers, Mars, is in Aquarius and the other, Pluto, is in Capricorn on this Lunar Eclipse. Mars is lined up with the Dragon, conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius and sextile Venus in Aries! Consultations both public and private go very well! Pluto, however, is square to Venus, cautioning you to keep your sources confidential and to investigate information that may be sketchy or came to you from a person who has a hidden agenda.
