Mercury Retrograde Alert! Mercury stations retrograde in Libra on September 7th, 2009 at 12:45 AM EDST and remains so until 09:13 AM EDST on September 29th, 2009. Mercury begins its retrograde tour in Libra, the sign of balance and then backs up into analytical Virgo causing us to re-evaluate. Because the sign of Virgo is ruled by Mercury, this will be a difficult cycle. It has a double whammy! Be extremely cautions with documents that involve calculations and be sure to read the fine print on both sides of any contract. Choosing to re-organize anything at this time will find you re-organizing it AGAIN - all too soon! Wait this one out! Often it is easier to deal with a bit of confusion you are used to rather than adding new frustrations to your schedule at this time. Procrastination can actually serve you in this cycle!
Neptune Retrograde Alert! Neptune in Aquarius stationed retrograde on May 29th at 12:30 AM EDST and remains so until November 4th at 01:10 AM EST! Remarkable artifacts bathed in antiquity come to the fore! The Discovery Channel will have a field day! Expect even dramas to contain sunken treasure, amazing computations by ancient cultures of celestial spheres and stunning archaeological discoveries! Tributes to man's imagination and innovation will also be in evidence. This is a provocative and inspirational cycle! As our Earth is changing, what can we learn and apply from the archives of ancient history? Stay tuned!
Chiron Retrograde Alert! Chiron, the wounded healer, joined Neptune in Aquarius as a retrograde companion at 01:12 AM EDST on May 30th, 2009 and they draw closer to one as the months go by. Chiron remains retrograde until October 30th, 2009! Emphasis is on faith and healing and how we can tap into the cycles of history to better understand the cycles of the Earth and humanity. This can be a deeply emotional time and allows for emotional, spiritual and physical healing on the root level. Often we must return to the point of pain or disappointment to debride our emotional wounds before they can be completely healed. Experts will be delving back into ancient texts regarding famines, floods, prophecy, astrology and miracles as they seek to understand the evolvement of this planet.
Jupiter Retrograde Alert! Jupiter stationed retrograde in Aquarius at 03:51 AM EDST on June 15, 2009 and will remain so until October 13th at 00:36 AM EDST. Jupiter is the largest planet and it magnifies everything it touches! It speaks of wonder, wealth and abundance. As it retrogrades, we will find ourselves redefining both our inner and outer prosperity. Because Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron are all retrograde and conjunct in Aquarius, many of us will reclaim our faith, seek to return to a previously more inspiring time and we will feel thankful for the health we enjoy. The Aquarian energy in and of itself is altruistic, humane and innovative. Even in lean times, we can birth new technologies and philosophies if we but work together toward our goals.
Uranus Retrograde Alert! Uranus stationed retrograde in Pisces on July 1, 2009 at 03:37AM EDST and will remain so until December 1, 2009 at 03:27PM! This ponderous planet literally appears to stand still for nearly 10 days as it stations! This year, Mercury in Gemini, moves into a square formation with it for several days! This will feel like Mercury retrograde - even though it is not! The energy that emerges from this configuration is one of recollection and a call to re-envision what the labor pains of our ancestors has brought forth. This is a great time to bring freedom and compassion back into our World after strife and cling tenaciously to our ideals!
Pluto Retrograde Alert! Pluto stationed retrograde in Capricorn on April 4, 2009 at 01:35 PM EDST and remains so until September 11, 2009 at 12:57 PM EDST!!! Saturn is Capricorn's ruler, emphasizing re-evaluation of matters regarding government, the military, organizations that protect and serve the public as well as rulers throughout the World. Pluto, due to its slow and erratic orbit, is a planet of process and transformation. Its retrograde status is an indicator that future solutions may lie in the past, and history and honor will play a role in the changes we face as inhabitants of this planet called Earth... |
LUNATIONS
FULL MOON occurs on September 4, 2009m at 12:02:36 PM EDST
This Full Moon in Pisces opposing the Virgo Sun is very quiet. Only a single quincunx from the Moon to Venus in Leo is interactive with the Lights. The desire to be appreciated for good service and unconditional devotion is evidenced here. Mercury in Libra forms a T-square with retrograde Pluto in Capricorn and Cancerian Mars. Duty and compassion must be balanced for fair mental judgment in this cycle. Retrograde Uranus in Pisces opposes Saturn in Virgo calling us to maintain as much order as possible in the midst of chaos. With five ponderous planets still retrograde, many processes have slowed and few long range plans will meet completion.
NEW MOON occurs on September 18, 2009 at 02:44:19 PM EDST
This New Moon in Virgo could literally change the World as we know it! Retrograde Mercury, the Lights and Saturn conjoin in the Ninth House of this Lunation chart all in square to Pluto, now direct in Capricorn and in trine to the Head of the Dragon! Retrograde Uranus in Pisces, opposes this major conjunction. This configuration reflects the desire for nations throughout the World to prevent more chaos and rethink the diversity and unity of all peoples toward a better Earth. Venus in radiant Leo opposes Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune - all still retrograde in Aquarius - as it forms a beautiful trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Prosperity, health and faith in a vision for the future will all be on the drawing board. Greater unity begins to formulate as we learn to communicate on a higher level.

The Month Ahead For Each Sign!
ARIES MAR 20 - APR 20 This Full Moon, your ruler, Mars, is in Cancer in a Cardinal T-square with Mercury in Libra and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. Emphasis is on job security and mental clarity when dealing with regulation or standards on projects. This configuration can actually create a balance but you will not be able to whiz through tasks the way you would like. At New Moon, Mars is still in Cancer and "void" as it is making no aspects to the other planets. It is forming a square to Ceres, (one of the asteroids) calling you to work hard but know when to take time off to enjoy life. Know when to say yes or no to both opportunity and responsibility. Also, know when to drop the argument! Spending some time alone is a great blessing!
TAURUS APR 20 - MAY 21 Your ruler, Venus, is in Leo in this Lunation chart and in quincunx to the Full Moon in Pisces! To the public, you may seem to have your act together and you can actually appear quite assertive. In private, however, truly relax and let your mind move to daydreaming and imaginative pastimes. Don your comfy gardening clothes and old bedroom slippers! After enjoying some time to recharge, this New Moon moves you into full gear! Your ruler is still in Leo - but very busy! The responsibility of getting your life in order will demand your attention. You must re-order your finances, repairs may be needed in the home, going for a health or vision check-up is seen - as well as peering into your future and creating that which will increase your sense of fulfillment! GEMINI MAY 21 - JUN 21 This Full Moon, your ruler is in Libra in a Cardinal T-square to Mars in Cancer and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. Be extremely cautious with money and commitments of your time. Guard your integrity in all situations. Security comes from being behind the scenes in this cycle. Confidential and deep conversations can be enlightening for both you and the other person. Expect delays in communication and protocol on the job. Resist thinking too much about your health as little aches and pains can feel magnified. Stay in touch with old friends!
